Last Halloween-y card for now

Okay, this picture is kinda crappy but I think you get the idea. I usually take all my pictures outside on the patio (my secret is out) but I took this one flat, in the kitchen. The card is the yellow thing, I just used the star paper as a backdrop.

I don't know why the heck this image for Tami's merry go round swap stumped me for so long but I knew I wanted a fake spider on it. I thought it would be funny if the spider offered some encouraging words to his friend. So, I used the"hang in there" stamp from Alicia's blog candy. I doodled around the image then went a little pen wild and hand-drew cobwebs in all the corners.

Moonlight Halloween

Here's another card for Tami's merry go round swap on the Stamp Shack. For some reason this image really stumped me. I finally decided to play off the stars and moon in the image. The patterned paper is from Mustard Moon. I've had the brads in my stash for years. And, I made the crescent moon with my light blue Marvy Uchida scalloped circle punch.

Spooky house card

I love this image. I only colored the pumpkins with my prismacolor pencils to make them stand out. Then, I added vellum to give the whole image a foggy, spooky feel. I grounded the image on a simple, striped paper to keep the focus on the image. This card is part of the merry go round swap that Tami is hosting on the Stamp Shack.

Have a Cupcake

Kristina (Starofmay) is the featured stamper this week on Splitcoast. It was super easy finding a card in her gallery that I wanted to CASE. Here's her version. I used her LO but changed the colors and sentiment and I did 3 candles instead of 2. I paper pieced the cupcake and cut out the candles from the patteren paper. The flames have orange Stickles on them.

Cupcake and Sentiment stamps: Inkspirations
Ribbon: another from Jill's blog candy
Patterned paper: Kelly Panacci
Cardstock: scraps

Fast forward to Christmas

So my last post was summer and now I'm posting Christmas tags. These are for Sherri's 3rd annual to/from Christmas tag swap on the Stamp Shack. I made them like an ornament so they can hang on the tree after they've done their time on a gift.
Joy stamp: A gift from Kim (thanks Kim)

It's another beautiful day at the beach

I know it's chilly in other parts of the world but it's still summer around here. This is my card for Tonii's tropical card swap on the Stamp Shack. And, I used Kerry's sketch again for my LO, which means that it also qualifies for an extra number for Barb's bingo game.

Stamps: Stampin Up!

Patterned paper: K & Co. and a scrap from a slab

Cardstock: The Paper Salon

Ribbons: Blog candy from Jill

Guest Sign-In Frame

This is a frame that I made for my friend Dawn's wedding. The picture is 4 x 6. I made it sepia to go with her brown theme. Frame and flowers: Prima Marketing, Paint: Making Memories, shopping bag, Brads: Making Memories (silver but altered with Timber Brown Stazon Ink), Marker: Lumocolor, brown. I glued the flowers with Tacky Glue so they will stay for a long time.
They both loved it.

Cupcake Card

I'm so excited about these fun stamps and these super cute papers. I'll probably be playing with them a lot. Hope you like cupcakes. :) The cupcake stamp is from Inkspirations. I stamped it with Timber Brown Stazon onto Heide Grace Cute Cakes paper and paperpieced it. The sentiment is from Just Johanna. The light blue cardstock is Prism.
I've been working on making the decorations for my best friend's wedding tomorrow. I'll be posting some of my projects here.

Not another Halloween card

This is another card for Tami's merry go round card swap. I love the image but I don't know who it's from. I colored it with my prisma pencils and used a marker for her skin. I chose non-traditional Halloween colors. I guess I was in a turquoise mood. The paper is by Anna Griffin. Ribbons are from my stash. The LO is based on a Kerry Urbatch sketch from Barb's blog.

The Image Box

I've been trying to find a way to organize all the stamped images that I have been collecting for the past couple of years. The other day I found this box on sale at Target. It measures 6 1/2' x 7 1/2' W and 5 1/2' H. It came with 5 dividers but I'm going to add lots more so I can easily find the image I'm looking for. I'm hoping that this will save me a lot of crafting time.
