Welcome to We Grow By Our Dreams. I made a fun card for the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Sketch Blog Hop.
I love making buntings, especially out of vintage sheets so I was so excited when I saw OWH's sketch #101. I made my card out of lots of flowery papers that remind me of vintage sheets.
Thanks again for stopping by We Grow By Our Dreams today. Check out all the other wonderful cards created using OWH sketches. Just click below.

Some Bunny Loves You
Welcome to We Grow By Our Dreams. Next Saturday is the Operation Write Home Bunny Hop. It will be a ton of fun and many blogs will be offering tutorials and blog candy. All blogs will offer inspiration and creativity.
In the meantime, I made some simple Easter cards using the same papers but playing with the layouts. I thought it would be fun to go non-traditional colors. Maybe these are "guy" Easter cards.
I was having so much fun with the papers that I also made an all occasion card too. Our heroes always need everyday cards to send home to their families.
Like I said, all occasion cards (thinking of you, miss you, happy birthday, love you, etc.) are always in demand. If you'd like to create some holiday cards, be aware of these upcoming deadlines:
Easter deadline: March 18
Mother's Day deadline: March 31
Don't forget to hop with me next Saturday, March 5th. Thanks again for stopping by.

I still make cards
Ha! It's been a while but I made some cards. For the first one I stamped the leaves and sentiment with SU Best Blossoms. The bottom is plum color paper that I punched with my new Fiskars Apron Lace border punch. The top is striped purple and white paper I've had for years.
For the next card I used SU Touch of Nature colored with Prismacolor pencils. I masked the image and stamped SU French Script. I used another new Fiskars border punch for the bottom along with some ribbon and some twill that I stamped with a Hero Arts sentiment.
Lastly, this is a really quick card with DCWV papers and Cornish Heritage Farms bunny and sentiment.
Thanks for coming by. Have a great day.

Shrinky Dink Fun
As a child of the 70s I'm a little ashamed to say that I never tried Shrinky Dinks until this past Saturday. They are so fun. I chose the OBP plain cupcake because 1)it's super cute 2) it's huge and 3) I didn't have to color a lot of detail. Wow! Super easy.
The green card was for Teresa's Hey Cupcake Challenge.
The blue card was for Mandy from Limelights Birthday Card Challenge.

WCMD Continued
Thanks to everyone who participated in my challenge. I loved seeing your interpretation of the theme. I made a lot of cards yesterday. I'll show them throughout this week. The top card is for the Limetart spring card challenge (since it's spring in Australia.) I used 3 different sheets of Flair Designs paper and OBP Flora Hugabudous and Thank You.

I made the diaper card for Emi's challenge to make an unusual shaped card. I used Sherry's template from the Stamp Shack with various OBP stamps.
I'll do the drawing for the WCMD winner tomorrow. I'll accept enties until midnight my time (PST) tonight.

A Little Christmas in July
One of the challenging things about design team assignments is that often you are working several seasons ahead. I had a hard time thinking about Christmas when I needed to work on these so I watched a Christmas movie to help set the mood.
I used Flair Designs Holly Jolly Collection O Christmas Tree and Cardstock stickers with Odd Bird Planet Lacy Circle Medium.
On this one I used Flair Designs Holly Jolly Collection Holly Jolly Stripe paper with more Cardstock stickers and OBP Joy to the World sentiment.
Flair also has a new line of Christmas paper called Merry Little Christmas. I am in love with the Holly Berries paper.
